Mary Wilson is the CEO & Founder of Taza. With close to 20 years of experience in sustainability and energy, Mary is focused on uncovering and scaling global, local, and industry sustainability solutions that address our world’s greatest challenges and opportunities.

Mary previously created and led the Global Sustainability & Climate Tech Partner Segment for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Mary is a founding member of think tank organization Chief, a member of Barcelona Global, and a Leader of the Climate Reality Project.Mary also volunteers at the West Palm Beach Office of Sustainability.

Together with Taza partners, Mary tackles sustainability objectives ranging from environmental, social, and governance reporting to decarbonization to ethical commerce for organizations, industries, and governments.

Mary has built Taza to champion the discoverability of solutions, to connect a community of experts, and to create a marketing engine that gathers sustainability resources all in one place.

Michael serves as the Principal of the Hudson Square Group, where he provides advisory and consulting services to early-stage start-ups including Shur, Prophetic AI, Minerva, Taza and Tipolis, as well as private equity firms looking to advance deals in industries related to sustainability and circularity, waste and recycling, and smart city innovation.

Prior to this venture, he worked for six and half years as Chief Strategy Officer for Rubicon Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: RBT), where he served as a member of the founding Executive Leadership Team that helped to take the company in August 2022. At Rubicon, the world’s largest digital platform for waste, recycling and smart city solutions, he created and led the company’s rapidly growing RUBICONSmartCity™ SaaS business, while also overseeing all public policy, corporate communications, marketing, and sustainability operations company-wide.

Prior to joining Rubicon, Michael oversaw public policy for Uber Technologies Inc. in the company’s largest global market, New York City. He has also served as a senior advisor to The Climate Group, where he advised the Rt. Honorable Tony Blair; organized the historic C40 Large Cities Climate Summit in May 2007; and led public policy for the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research as Vice President. Michael was also formerly the Political & Public Policy Analyst for UBS (NYSE: UBS), and midway through his career, he launched a highly competitive campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives in New York’s 13th Congressional District.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Boston College, a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Diploma in International Relations from the Programme International de Sciences Politiques et Sociales from Sciences-Po.

He has served as an Advisor to the Citizen App (aka, Sp0n Inc.), a start-up that alerts citizens in real-time to crimes and other emergencies in their vicinity, and as a Senior Advisor to Seneca Communities, an affordable housing investment firm. Michael is a member of the Board of Directors of Guardian Revival, a national non-profit organization that provides direct support to help rehabilitate veterans and former first responders. He is also a Fellow and former U.S. Chair of the British American Project, a past Member of the State Board of Directors of the New York State League of Conservation Voters, and a Member of the Royal Society of Arts & Industry.

Giulio is originally from Milan, Italy and currently resides in Paris. After graduating from Sciences Po's Governing the Large Metropolis master's program, Giulio Negri joined Bboxx, an impact-driven startup that aims to solve energy poverty across Sub-Saharan Africa through the implementation of solar energy.

Giulio has experience in energy infrastructure as an operations officer at Paris Infrastructure Advisory and a deep interest in urban development and the management of e-waste. At Taza, Giulio is the Chief of Staff and is excited about the opportunity to connect solutions to sustainability business needs.

With a PhD in policy analysis, and an MS & BS in engineering, Steve boasts a multi-disciplinary background across startup entrepreneurship, software development, qualitative and quantitative research methods.

* Helped launch The Climate Pledge and served as Amazon's first carbon offsets expert
* Won a Director's Award and an R&D 100 award for my behavioral science work at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

Steve’s career has focused on solving hard problems in ambiguous spaces. His passions are sustainability and the societal consequences of new technologies.
